It is with pleasure that UGSM-Monarch Business School Switzerland announces that the first cohort of the Greek Executive MBA program graduated on Thursday, September 19th in Athens. The ceremony was concluded at the campus of UGSM-Monarch in Athens that overlooks the Acropolis. The afternoon was filled with joy and friendship as the students received their diplomas and reflected on their two years of study. Dr. Christos Antoniou a faculty member at UGSM-Monarch Business School Switzerland and a Member of the Academic Council is the Director of the Greek MBA program. The program is taugh in the Greek language.
Graduating from the program were: Ms. Paraskevi Arvaniti, Markos Benveniste, Elena Dima, Syridon Kitsos and Georgios Stavridis. Present for the ceremony from UGSM-Monarch faculty were: Dr. Henderson the Dean of Studies, Dr. Costantinos Grivas, Professor of Marketing and naturally, Dr. Chritos Antoniou the Director of the Greek MBA Program. Dr. Antoniou spoke of his pride in his students at the occasion of their graduation:
“Though the fist cohort is a small group they came together very well and produced some great results. Everyone learned a great deal and are now eager to apply what they have learned to their work environment. As well, some of the students have expressed interest in continuing with Monarch in Athens to complete the Doctoral level study. I am very proud to have worked with all of them over the last two years and it has been a great experience.”
At present, the second cohort is underway at the half way point of their program while October-2013 will see the third cohort of students start the program. Again, we would like to congratulate the students and Dr. Antoniou for their great effort and success.
