Scholarships support doctoral and master’s-level academic programmes across the Monarch Global Research Institute and Monarch Business School. The Dean’s Scholarship is automatic upon admission for eligible programme applications submitted from 1 October to 31 December 2026 inclusive. The additional Women’s Scholarship is assessed separately.

Dean’s Scholarship Award
All applicants to eligible programmes who apply between 1 October and 31 December 2026 inclusive receive a 20% tuition reduction automatically upon admission.
No separate scholarship application or financial-need assessment is required during this window. Academic admission requirements remain unchanged. The award applies throughout active registration, including continuation, on both Standard and Extended pathways.

Women’s Scholarship Award
Female researchers who receive academic acceptance may apply separately for this additional 10% tuition scholarship. Assessment considers motivation, commitment to advanced study and intended research, professional or community contribution. The award is subject to approval and is not automatic.
Applicants do not need an established leadership title. The award is available across eligible academic fields and does not require research into gender or women’s issues.
Financial need is not a requirement for this award.

Dr. Lee Dahringer
The Dean’s Scholarship Award honours Dr. Lee Dahringer, Professor Emeritus and Monarch’s first Dean. His academic leadership spans deanships at Loyola University Maryland, West Virginia University and Butler University, alongside an international career in teaching and scholarship.

Submit your programme application between 1 October and 31 December 2026 inclusive. Upon admission to an eligible programme, the 20% Dean’s Scholarship applies automatically. Female researchers may also submit a separate Women’s Scholarship request linked to their Application ID.
Eligible programmes include Academic Doctorates, Applied Doctorates, the Executive Doctorate and Master’s Programmes at MGRI and MBS listed on the tuition page. Post-Doctoral Programmes, the Executive MBA, MMI programmes and other executive education are excluded. Additional fees are not covered.
Independent awards. Combined support.
The separately approved 10% Women’s Scholarship is additional to the automatic 20% Dean’s Scholarship. Together they provide a total 30% reduction of the same eligible tuition amount, not successive discounts.
For illustration, on €30,000 of eligible tuition, the Dean’s Award represents €6,000, the Women’s Award €3,000, and both together €9,000. Actual award values depend on eligible programme tuition.

Submit your programme application from 1 October to 31 December 2026 inclusive and keep your Application ID.
Receive academic acceptance
Monarch assesses normal academic eligibility. Upon admission to an eligible programme, the 20% Dean’s Scholarship is awarded automatically.
Apply separately for the Women’s Scholarship
From 1 October 2026, female researchers who receive academic acceptance may request the Women’s Scholarship application details from Admissions. Link the request to your Application ID and provide a statement of motivation, commitment and intended contribution. No separate request is needed for the automatic Dean’s award.
Receive your decision
Approved applicants receive a formal scholarship award letter confirming the value, covered tuition and conditions. Awarded support is applied as tuition credits, not as a cash payment.
The automatic Dean’s Scholarship window applies to programme applications submitted from 1 October to 31 December 2026 inclusive. Awarded support continues throughout active registration, including continuation. For applications outside these dates, contact Admissions to confirm the applicable award terms.

Does admission guarantee a scholarship?
Yes, for the 20% Dean’s Scholarship when an eligible programme application is submitted between 1 October and 31 December 2026 inclusive and the applicant is admitted. The additional 10% Women’s Scholarship requires a separate application and approval.
What evidence should I prepare?
No separate scholarship form or financial-need evidence is required for the automatic Dean’s award during the stated window. For the Women’s Scholarship, prepare a statement of motivation, commitment and intended contribution, linked to your Application ID. Financial need is not a requirement.
Can I apply for both awards?
Yes. Applicants who submit their eligible programme application from 1 October to 31 December 2026 inclusive receive the 20% Dean’s Scholarship automatically upon admission. The window concerns the programme application submission date. Female researchers may apply separately for the additional 10% Women’s Scholarship. When approved, total support is 30% of the same eligible tuition amount.
Can I apply for a scholarship before 1 October?
The automatic Dean’s Scholarship applies only to programme applications submitted from 1 October to 31 December 2026 inclusive.
