Alumnus Dr. Richmond Okafor Joins Lagos Business School
Monarch Business School Switzerland is proud to celebrate the appointment of Dr. Richmond Okafor, a recent Doctor of Business Administration graduate, as a full-time Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Lagos Business School (LBS), one of Africa’s leading institutions for executive education. A visionary entrepreneur and thought leader, Dr. Okafor brings to the role a distinguished career spanning business innovation, academic excellence, and ecosystem development.
Founder of five successful businesses and recipient of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Nigeria (CIMN) “Millennial Award” for Internet Product of the Year, Dr. Okafor exemplifies the integration of scholarly rigour and pragmatic leadership that defines the Monarch DBA. His appointment followed a competitive and multi-stage selection process at LBS, including research presentations and faculty interviews. He credits his success to the comprehensive academic training, rigorous coursework, and mentorship received at Monarch, which prepared him to confidently showcase both intellectual depth and applied relevance.
Dr. Okafor’s leadership roles include serving as Chairman of Cleanmax Industries Ltd and Pushlogic Ltd, as well as Director at FIN ICT HUBs in the United Kingdom. His international engagements, including keynote appearances at Stellenbosch Business School (South Africa) and KCA University (Kenya), reflect the global impact of his work.
