Daniel Lukwago

Mr. Daniel Lukwago is a Doctor of Social Science Candidate. He holds a Master of Public Administration in Economic Management Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics. He holds a Certificate in Training on Poverty and Economic Policy Analysis from the Fiscal and Finance Commission and PEP Network in South Africa as well as a Certificate on Poverty Reduction Strategies and Civil Society Participation from the Institute of Development Policy and Management in Belgium. Lastly, he holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute in Kampala.

Professionally, Mr. Lukwago is a consultant with the World Bank in Kampala where he was previously a research analyst. He has held various consulting positions across a vast array of NGOs, including: Advocates Coalition For Development & Environment, Uganda Debt Network, Oxfam Novib, Environmental Alert, British Council, Seatini-Uganda, World Vision, USAID amongst others. He is a published author with several briefs, policy research papers. He is a member of Member of the Uganda Economic Association and the Uganda Evaluation Association as well as being the Co-founder/ Member of CSBAG and former Board Member of the Uganda Debt Network.
