Student Teachers At Monarch
We have many present Doctoral and Graduate students who are presently teaching both internally at Monarch and externally within other Institutions. We also have many Alumni who have continued on to teach after their graduation at Monarch. We are proud of our Student Teachers and and that they chose to perfect their academic careers at Monarch. Below are several short biography highlights on some selected student teachers of Monarch.
Prof. Cole
Prof. Lori Cole holds a Ph.D. in Business Ethics from Monarch . She presently teaches at Forsyth Technical Community College in North Carolina (USA) within the Information Security program. She concurrently serves as a research proposal coordinator at the SANS Institute of Technology as part of their Cyber Graduate Program. Ms. Cole has a M.A. in Instructional Leadership from Chaminade University of Honolulu, HI and has been an active educator for 2 years within higher academia.
Prof. Barsoum
Prof. Miray Barsoum is a PhD Candidate in Strategic Marketing. She is currently a Professor of Marketing, Positive Psychology and Critical Thinking at Nile University, Cairo Egypt. She is also a Professor of Economics at the American University in Cairo. Ms. Barsoum holds a M.Sc. from London School of Business & Finance, MBA from the Maastricht School of Management and is a Certified Marketing Analyst from UC Berkeley also holding a Certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University. Prof. Barsoum also teaches Marketing within the Bachelor and Master programs at Monarch.
Dr. Ntara
Dr. Caroline Ntara holds a PhD in International Business from Monarch. She is presently lecturing at the UNICAF University in Cyprus teaching the University of South Wales online partner program within the Master of Business Administration and UNICAF Zambia online Master and Bachelor business administration programs. Dr. Ntara teaches Leadership and Management Theory, Research Methods and International Business at Masters level and Management Accounting at Bachelors level. Dr. Ntara has been an active teacher since 2007.
Dr. Omagor
Dr. Charles Omagor holds a PhD in Spirituality in Management from Monarch. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and International Business at Makerere University Business School at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Dr Omagor teaches Consumer Behavior, Industrial Marketing and supervises dissertations at the Postgraduate level. Dr. Omagor has been an active academic since 2004. He has published research in the fields of marketing, management, and spirituality in management.
Prof. Okafor
Prof. Richmond Okafor is a Candidate in the Doctor of Business Administration program. He is an Adjunct Faculty member of the Lagos Business School (LBS) of the Pan Atlantic University in Nigeria and has for the past 8 years been involved in facilitating Entrepreneurship sessions on the Executive, Modular and Full-time MBA programs, the Advance and senior executive programs and the Pre-retirement programs. LBS is accredited by AMBA and AACSB.
Dr. Panthallor
Dr. Pramela Panthallor holds a PhD in Business Research from Monarch. She is a Professor at the Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Toronto within the postgraduate programs in the Faculty of Business. She also teaches a statistics course for the postgraduate Accounting program at York University’s School of Continuing Studies in Toronto. Dr. Panthallor has experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate business and software engineering courses since 2010 in India, Kyrgyzstan, Suriname and Canada.
Prof. Okoroafor
Prof. Stella Okoroafor is currently a Candidate in the PhD in Finance program at Monarch. She is a full-time lecturer at Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria within the Bachelor of Education Degree program. She is in the department of Accountancy in the school of Vocational and Technical Studies. She has experience teaching Accounting, Economics, MIS and Entrepreneurship. Mrs. Okoroafor has been an active lecturer since 2008. She also supervises thesis work of degree students.
Dr. Ochis
Dr. Karina Ochis holds a Dual Doctorate PHD/Doctor of Applied Leadership and an MPhil in Business Research from Monarch. Dr. Ochis teaches within the Bachelor and Master programs at Monarch for Business Communication and Organizational Leadership. She is also active as a dissertation reviewer and thesis committee member for Doctoral work. She also holds the position of Associate Dean of Student Development. Her research is focused on inter-generational management.
Dr. Robinson
Dr. Ashley Robinson holds a PhD and M.Phil. in International Business from Monarch. She is a Professor within the Bachelor program at Monarch for Business Law. She also holds the position of Dean of the Bachelor Program at Monarch. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Law from the University of Bristol, U.K. as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
Prof. Jatho
Prof. Kerstin Jatho is a Candidate within the Dual PhD – Doctor of Applied Leadership program at Monarch. She is a Professor within the Master program at Monarch for Leadership . She also teaches coaching related open, short courses and programs within the Monarch Coaching Institute. She holds a Master’s Degree, with distinction, in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of East London in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Accounting from the University of South Africa (UNISA)
Prof. Maliakas
Prof. Konstantinos Maliakas is a Candidate within the Doctor of Business Administration program at Monarch. He is an active Professor within the Bachelor program at Monarch for MIS and Production Management subjects. Professor Maliakas also holds an M.Sc. in Project Management from the University of Liverpool. He has been an active teacher of professionals within the production management industry for many years. He is a member of the Project Management Institute in the U.S. and a Project Manager Professional with George Washington University.
Prof. Shipman
Prof. Coles
Prof. Chris Coles is a Candidate within the Doctor of Social Science program. He also lectures at The Mongolian National University in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. He teaches courses in International Relations Theory and Civilizational History, International Law Theory, and English Literature and Pedagogy. Prof. Coles has taught within various educational systems since 1998. He is further involved in practicums, international programs and curriculum design initiatives. He also sits on the faculty at Monarch for International Relations.
Dr. Ondongo
Dr Odongo joined Birmingham City University, UK in October 2023. Prior to that he served as adjunct research supervisor and external examiner at Regenesys Business School (South Africa) for the Doctor of Business Management (DBM), MBA and MPM (Master of Public Management) programmes. By the time he left, he was supervising four doctoral students and one MBA student. In March 2023, Dr Odongo was appointed an external examiner for doctoral theses at the University of South Africa (UNISA). He also served as an external examiner for the MBA dissertations at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (UKZN) in South Africa.
Prof. Kagimu
Mr. Ivan Kagimu is a Doctor of Economics & Finance Candidate. He is presently lecturing at Fudan University School of Economics in Shanghai, China within the Bachelor of Applied Economics and Finance Program. He has also been a visiting and adjunct lecturer at Hunan University of Finance and Economics, Nanchang Aerospace and Aeronautics University, Huainan University and Shandong University of Finance and Economics lecturing Economics, Finance, Accounting and Business Administration. Mr. Kagimu has been an active teacher for 6 years within the university system.
Dr. Imakando
Dr. Liane Moosho Imakando is a Doctor of Philosophy in Entrepreneurship graduate. She is currently the Director of Research and Business at Blessings University of Excellence (BLUE) in Zambia. Dr. Imakando ensures that the university produces high standards in academic and non academic research. She also chairs the Blue University Research Ethics Committee (BREC). She is a member of the School of business faculty for undergraduate and post graduate entrepreneurship as well as research methods to undergraduate and post graduate students. She also coordinates workshops on various themes.
Prof. Keita
Prof. Parker
Professor Carolyn Parker is a MBA Graduate from Monarch Business School. She holds a MA in Education & Applied Linguistics from the Open University, UK as well as a BA Honors in Classics from the University of Kent, UK. She also holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education from the Open University. At present, she is the Secondary School Principal at the Qatar Academy Sidra in Doha. Previous to that, she was the Assistant Principal at the GEMS international School – Al Khail in Dubai.
