CAM is intended for managers who are strengthening their professional breadth and are ready to have that development reviewed against a clear MMI standard.
Members may register for CAM before beginning AMP, while completing the programme, or after completing it. Once CAM registration is accepted and the applicable fees are paid, candidates receive the 12.5% course discount immediately.
Completion of Advanced Management Practice provides the educational pathway, but it does not confer the designation automatically. Applicants must meet every membership, learning, ethics and review requirement before admission to the chartered rank.
Upon admission, members may use the CAM post-nominal and may also refer to themselves as a Chartered Associate Manager of the Monarch Management Institute.

Declare a developing professional domain supported by the AMP, résumé and experience.
Register at any point before, during or after AMP and submit the prescribed application with a current professional résumé.
Complete Ethical Decision Making for Managers, affirm the ethics charter and receive approval.
Professional references are not required for a CAM application. The €100 application fee is non-refundable and exclusive of applicable taxes.

Your Practice Domain records the principal field in which you are developing management competence. It may be shown in your MMI professional record and supports a coherent path from AMP learning into continuing professional development.
The CAM threshold is proportionate to an accessible first chartered rank: the domain is supported by your AMP studies, professional résumé and management experience.

Keep your chartered knowledge current.
CAM members complete two eligible MMI courses during each two-year cycle. At least one course must relate materially to the member’s Primary Practice Domain.
Good standing also requires payment of the annual fee, continued adherence to the professional ethics charter, accurate Practice Domain records and completion of applicable administrative requirements. MMI learning used for continuing requirements must be completed through MMI.

Must I be a Professional Member before starting the AMP?
No. Professional Membership is optional during AMP study. You must, however, be a Professional Member in good standing when you submit your CAM application.
Is management experience mandatory for CAM?
No. Two years of management experience is beneficial but not obligatory. CAM is intended to remain a highly accessible first chartered level.
Does completing the AMP automatically confer CAM?
No. AMP completion satisfies the educational pathway. CAM also requires Professional Membership at application, a declared Primary Practice Domain, the required ethics preparation, a résumé, the application fee and formal MMI approval.
Do I need professional references?
No. Professional references are not required for a CAM application.
What is a Primary Practice Domain?
It is the principal field of management practice in which you are developing competence. At CAM level it is supported proportionately by your AMP learning, résumé and professional experience.
What must I do to maintain CAM standing?
Keep the annual standing current, remain aligned with the professional ethics charter and complete two eligible MMI courses during each two-year cycle, including at least one related to your Primary Practice Domain.
