Mr. Thomas Ene, Switzerland

Mr. Thomas Ene is a Candidate within the Dual PhD / DBA Combined Program. He holds a MBA from the EuroMBA Consortium Maastricht as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Statistics from the Open University. At present, he holds the position of IT Technical Architect at SITEL. Previous to that he held positions of Global Capacity Lead, Capacity Planner, and Change Manager at Nestle S.A. He has also worked at IBM as Storage Department Lead & System Engineer. He holds multiple Certificates and has broad training on specific systems including: Microsoft, IBM & SAP.

Ms. Mainza Simoonga, Zambia

Ms. Mainza Simoonga is a Doctor of Business Administration Candidate. She holds a M.Sc. in Management from Walden University, USA. She also holds a Master and Bachelor of Engineering from Tver Sate Technical University, Russia. At present, she holds the positions of Director of Projects at the National Pension Scheme Authority of Zambia (NAPSA). At NAPSA she has also held the positions of Project Manager and Civil Engineer and Business Continuity Coordinator. Previously, she held the position of Assistant Director at the Ministry of Youth and Sport. She has also been the Assistant Director of Engineering Services at the Lusaka City Council. She is a Registered Engineer, Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Zambia, a Certified Member of the Project Management Institute and a member of the Institute of Directors, the Architectural Engineering Institute and the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World.

Mr. Karthikeyan Chidambaram, USA / Switzerland

Mr. Karthikeyan Chidambaram is a Candidate within the Professional PhD in Info. Technology program. He has 23 years high-end expertise in conduct and interpretation of data analysis in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry with strategic analytics in commercial and development settings. He holds a M.Sc. in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology in India and an MBA from Colorado State, USA. He also holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India. At present, he holds the position of Executive Director – Head of Data Asset Management at Roche in Basel, Switzerland.

Previous to that, he held the position of Global Head, Data and Architecture at Gilead Sciences, California. He has also been the Senior Director of Data Management at Genentech in California. He has also held various positions at AstraZeneca, Amgen, GE Capital and Philips Lighting. He has sat as the President of Pharma SOS an industry nonprofit association for Commercial Operations professionals. He has presented to National Institute of Health (NIH) at the White House on best polices for patient level data & secured endorsement for the CUPID initiative. He is featured on Pharmaceutical Executive magazine as an “Emerging Pharmaceutical Leader”, is the author of multiple white papers, and has been a speaker within Pharma conferences on patient level data assets and big data. 

Ms. Cate Valentine, South Africa / Dubai

Ms. Cate Valentine is a Candidate within the Professional PhD in Leadership Program. She is a leadership development expert and coach with over 20 years experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Relations from the University of South Africa and a National Diploma in Human Resource Management from Cape University of Technology. At present, she holds the position of Lead Faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership in Brussels, UAE and Africa. She has  lead coaching and leadership mandates as a development specialist for various clients including: Investment Funds, Yara International, DLA Piper, WABCO, and the British Council.

Ms. Gloria Noganta, South Africa

Ms. Gloria Nomvuyiseko Noganta is a Candidate within the Doctor of Leadership program. Ms. Noganta has been involved in business management and law enforcement since 1993. Her experience includes working with an extremely broad range of security, facilities and emergency related matters in South Africa and Internationally. She holds a Master of Business Administration from York St. John University, UK and a Bachelor of Technology in Policing from Technikon in South Africa. She is also a graduate of the Senior Management Development Program at Stellenbosch University.

At present, she holds a position within the Executive National Security Management of the South African Revenue Service. Previous to that, she held the position of Head Group Security Operations at the South African Reserve Bank. She has been the Senior Nuclear Security Manager for the National Nuclear Regulator as well as a Nuclear security international trainer and member of the International Physical Protection Advisory Service under the International Atomic Energy Agency. She has also held positions with ESKOM, the National Prosecuting Authority and the South African Police Service. Ms. Noganta served as an expert member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), International Physical Protection Advisory Service (IPPAS) which focuses on safety and security conducting nuclear security audits and providing security training at various countries also drafting IAEA nuclear security documents for member countries.
