Mr. Siva Narayanan is a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Economics Candidate. He holds a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University USA, a Master in Health Care Policy & Management from John Hopkins University USA as well as a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Strathclyde UK. At present, Mr. Narayanan holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Avant Health, a specialized strategy consulting firm in the USA that empowers biopharmaceutical and healthcare clients globally with robust evidence and insights, enabling optimal and timely decision-making with confidence. Formerly, he held executive roles (President, EVP or SVP) at Pointe Advisory, MKTXS, Ipsos, and Kantar Health/TNS, leading several consulting divisions within respective corporations supporting healthcare industry.
Within pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Narayanan held the role of VP and global head, Market Access and Value Demonstration at PTC Therapeutics, supporting the orphan drug portfolio and leading the global launch of its products; prior to that, he held senior managerial positions at: GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Merck & Co. He has serve on the editorial boards for several medical journals. He is an active researcher with many publications in peer reviewed journals as well as having presented at many healthcare conferences within the field of market access, health economics, outcome research and epidemiology.
