About This Course
Turn Evidence into Insight develops a practical technique for answering organisational questions with evidence rather than intuition alone. Participants learn to gather from interviews, records, observation, internal data and external research; assess the strengths and limits of each source; and triangulate across them before reaching a conclusion.
The running Halvorsen Freight case demonstrates how a confident explanation can fail when tested against independent evidence. Participants work through the same cycle on a question of their own, building a traceable evidence base and examining rival explanations.
The result is a defensible insight that can be communicated credibly to decision-makers: clear about what the evidence supports, honest about uncertainty and ready to guide action.
Why this course is different
Most guidance on evidence is either an academic methods survey or a general warning about bias. This course teaches the practical middle: how to frame one organisational question, gather evidence from five complementary sources, judge what each source can legitimately show, test convergence and conflict, and carry a defensible conclusion into a management discussion.
