Professor Konstantinos Maliakas holds the position of Professor of Management. Professor Maliakas holds an M.Sc. in Project Management from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. He is a member of the Project Management Institute in the United States and officially registered as an international Project Manager Professional and a Balanced Scorecard Professional with George Washington University and The Balanced Scorecard Institute.
Prof. Maliakas’ academic interest focus on knowledge transfer within organizations, succession planning and organizational sustainability. He is exclusively interested in advising businesses on how to maintain long-term sustainability and achieve seamless operational excellence.
During his professional career, Professor Maliakas held Director and senior management positions within the Telecommunication, IT, Banking, Air Traffic Control Systems sectors with a variety of global corporate organizations, such as Emirates Advanced Investments in UAE, Motorola, Inc., Ericsson-LG, Nokia, Siemens, Alenia and Telettra. He is an ambassador of The Project Management Professional discipline and contributor to the Project Management Institute Standards of PMBOK®, Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3®) and other PMI guides.
