For many experienced coaches, there comes a point when professional growth means more than adding another certification. It means developing a distinctive area of expertise, strengthening your professional standing and contributing something meaningful to the field.
Monarch Business School Switzerland introduces the Doctor of Coaching (DCoach)—an applied doctoral programme for executive, leadership, team and professional coaches who are ready to take that next step.
Start with a question that matters to your practice.
What helps clients turn insight into lasting change? How do coaching relationships build trust? How can coaching better support teams and organisations? With individual faculty guidance, you develop a focused doctoral project that connects your experience with evidence and new understanding.
Fully online study allows you to remain professionally active while deepening your expertise. The standard pathway has a minimum duration of 24 months, with an extended pathway of at least 48 months. Completion requires fulfilment of the programme’s academic requirements, including an original doctoral thesis and oral defence.

Your work can inform your coaching or consulting offering, support writing and speaking, or contribute to coach education and programme leadership. The DCoach offers an opportunity to build a recognised area of expertise through a project rooted in the questions and experiences that have shaped your practice.
