Andreas Masouras is a Ph.D. candidate in Communication and Mass Media from the Universality of Brighton, UK, specializing in television communication and television programming. He is a Research Visitor at the Donald McGannon Communication Research Center at Fordham University USA, specializing in content diversity. His other research interests are in political communication, media policy, journalism in comparison to new media and globalization of media organizations.
Andreas is completing a Doctor of Professional Studies to augment his Ph.D. thesis work and apply the academic lessons to the professional arena. Andreas also holds a BA degree in Communication and Mass Media from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, a M.Sc. in Globalization, Media and Culture from the University of Glamorgan in Wales as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies (with specialization in media) from the National Awarding Body of the United Kingdom. Opposite of media studies, Andreas holds a postgraduate certificate in university education from the University of Brighton. Andreas is well published and has presented a series of papers at international congresses while giving lectures in Cyprus, at Brighton and at Fordham mainly on the subject of the diversity and quality of Media content.
