It is with great pleasure that the University announces that Dr. George Majdalany has successfully defended his dissertation with distinction during the defense period held in Dubai in May-2013. The dissertation is entitled, “The Effect of Intellectual Assets and Intellectual Liabilities Disclosure on Financial Performance: An Empirical Analysis of Publicly Listed Companies in the United Arab Emirates”.
Dr. Majdalany has also presented the results of his thesis work at several external symposiums as well as being published externally. With the conclusion of his program Dr. Majdalany now joins the faculty of UGSM-Monarch Business School as a Professor of Finance. We congratulate Dr. Majdalany and we wish him continued success as a faculty member.
