Scholarships support doctoral and master’s-level academic programmes across the Monarch Global Research Institute and Monarch Business School. Each award is individually assessed.

Dean’s Scholarship Award
A needs-based tuition award for academically accepted applicants who demonstrate that financial circumstances present a barrier to study.
Assessment considers financial resources, essential responsibilities, other available support and a credible plan for meeting the remaining tuition.
Open without restriction by nationality or country of residence.

Women’s Scholarship Award
Supporting aspiring, dedicated women who demonstrate motivation, commitment to advanced study and potential to contribute through professional or community life.
Applicants do not need an established leadership title. The award is available across eligible academic fields and does not require research into gender or women’s issues.
Financial need is not a requirement for this award.
HONOURING A FOUNDING ACADEMIC LEADER
Dr. Lee Dahringer
The Dean’s Scholarship Award honours Dr. Lee Dahringer, Professor Emeritus and Monarch’s first Dean. His academic leadership spans deanships at Loyola University Maryland, West Virginia University and Butler University, alongside an international career in teaching and scholarship.

A separate decision. A shared opportunity.
First submit the non-binding application to your chosen programme and receive academic acceptance. You can then request a scholarship using the Application ID associated with your programme application.
These awards cover doctoral and master’s-level academic programmes across MGRI and MBS. MMI courses and executive education are outside the scope of these awards.
Independent awards. Combined support.
You may be considered for either award or both. Where both are approved, the 20% and 10% awards combine to provide 30% of the same eligible tuition amount.
For illustration, on €30,000 of eligible tuition, the Dean’s Award represents €6,000, the Women’s Award €3,000, and both together €9,000. Actual award values depend on eligible programme tuition.

Apply to your programme
Submit the existing non-binding programme application. Keep your clearly identified Application ID.
Receive academic acceptance
Monarch assesses your academic eligibility independently of any scholarship request.
Submit your scholarship request
From 1 October 2026, accepted applicants can use the separate scholarship process, linked through their Application ID. Provide the information and supporting evidence relevant to the award requested.
Receive your decision
Approved applicants receive a formal scholarship award letter confirming the value, covered tuition and conditions. Awarded support is applied as tuition credits, not as a cash payment.
Scholarship applications are not yet open. Submission instructions and full award terms will be available when applications open on 1 October 2026.

Does admission guarantee a scholarship?
No. Academic admission and scholarship assessment are separate decisions. You must first be academically accepted, then apply for the award.
What evidence should I prepare?
For the Dean’s Award, prepare an explanation of your financial circumstances and available funding, supported by relevant evidence. For the Women’s Award, prepare a statement of your motivation, commitment and intended contribution. Detailed submission requirements will accompany the scholarship forms.
Can I apply for both awards?
Yes. Each is assessed against its own criteria. If both are approved, the combined award is 30% of eligible tuition.
Can I apply for a scholarship before 1 October?
Scholarship applications open on 1 October 2026. You may submit your non-binding programme application beforehand.
