Monarch Switzerland Appoints Dr. Louise Delaney as Professor of Leadership
Monarch Switzerland is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Louise Delaney as Professor of Leadership and Monarch Ambassador.
Dr. Delaney brings to the Institution extensive academic expertise and more than twenty years of leadership experience with United States multinational technology companies in Ireland. Throughout her professional career, she built and developed high-performing sales and operations teams across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America. This international experience enables her to connect academic theory with the practical realities of leadership in complex global organisations.
Her research focuses on leadership, innovation culture and organisational performance within multinational subsidiary environments. In particular, her doctoral work examined the evolution of corporate culture within U.S. multinational technology companies between 2020 and 2024, exploring the leadership and organisational practices that encourage innovation and sustained performance. She has also published research on leadership, innovation and organisational culture.
Dr. Delaney holds a dual PhD in Business Research and Doctorate in Leadership, as well as an M.Phil. in Business Research, from Monarch Business School Switzerland. She also holds a Master of Science in Innovation and Technology Management from Dublin Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Business Studies from Dundalk Institute of Technology and a Diploma in International Business from Heilbronn University in Germany.
As Professor of Leadership, Dr. Delaney will contribute her research expertise, international perspective and considerable executive experience to Monarch’s academic community. Her appointment strengthens the Institution’s faculty expertise in leadership, organisational culture, innovation and multinational enterprise performance.
In recognition of her distinguished professional experience, academic contribution and commitment to the values and mission of the Institution, Dr. Delaney has also been appointed a Monarch Ambassador. This institutional distinction is conferred upon select members of the Monarch community whose professional standing and engagement reflect the character and international outlook of the Institution.
In this capacity, Dr. Delaney will represent Monarch Switzerland within the wider academic and professional community and contribute to the continued development of the Institution’s international presence and global network.
