Prof. Arthur Johnson is a PhD / DBA Combined program Candidate. He holds a B.Sc. in Criminal Justice from A.M.E. Zion University College, a Bachelor of Public Administration and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Liberia. He also holds a MA in Political Science, Master of Public Administration and MA in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the University of Liberia. Further to the above, Mr. Johnson also holds a Master of Laws from Temple University, a M.Phil. in Criminal Justice from Walden University as well as a PhD in Legal Studies from Atlantic International University.
At present, he holds the position of CEO and Senior Legal Consultant at the Consortium of Legal Practitioners in Liberia. Previous to that, he held the position of Chairman and Special Independent Prosecutor/Counsel on the Assets Investigation Restitution & Recovery Team at the Ministry of Justice of Liberia. He has also acted as a National Consultant to the World Bank within the Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism in collaboration with the Liberian Ministry of Justice. He has also been a Managing Partner at Sesay Johnson and Associates Law Chambers in Monrovia, Liberia.
Beyond his professional experience Prof. Johnson also holds the position of Dean and Professor at A.M.E. Zion University College in Liberia and Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Liberia. He is presently a member of the International Criminal Court Bar Association (ICCBA), International Association of Prosecutors, European Fraud and Compliance Lawyers (EFCL), American Bar Association, European Criminal Bar Association and Counsellor-At-Law and Member The Supreme Court Bar of the Republic of Liberia. He is also the author of several books covering the Liberian Lawyers’ Perspectives on Establishing an Economic and War Crimes Court, and The Involvement of the People in Political Governance.
