Amanda Garcia is an accomplished senior leader within the United States federal judicial system, currently serving as Chief United States Pretrial Services Officer for the Northern District of Illinois. In this capacity, she provides executive oversight of a multidisciplinary team responsible for federal pretrial investigations and community supervision, while managing complex administrative functions including a multi-million-dollar budget, human resources, and institutional policy development. Her leadership extends to the national level, where she chairs key working groups focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, as well as Fraud, Waste, and Abuse, reflecting a strong commitment to ethical governance and organizational integrity.

Ms. Garcia brings over two decades of progressive experience within the United States Courts, having held roles spanning probation officer, probation administrator, branch chief, and now executive leadership. Her work has consistently integrated evidence-based practices, including risk assessment methodologies and behavioral intervention frameworks, contributing to improved outcomes in both pretrial and post-conviction contexts.
