CPM
MMI’s principal professional designation
Chartered Professional Manager
Turn advanced management judgement into recognised professional standing.
CPM recognises managers whose advanced education, experience and applied work demonstrate professional capability, responsible judgement and continuing development.
Advanced learning in practice
Recognition built on advanced education and applied judgement.
CPM is for managers who can demonstrate that management knowledge has become professional capability: the ability to analyse consequential situations, exercise sound judgement and contribute responsibly in practice.
Applicants complete the educational route, MMI practice and ethics requirements, a substantial management or consulting case, supporting evidence and formal professional review.
Advanced knowledge. Demonstrated judgement. Recognised professional standing.
Your Name, CPM
Successful applicants may use the Chartered Professional Manager designation and CPM post-nominal, and may refer to themselves as a Chartered Professional Manager of the Monarch Management Institute while maintaining the required professional standing.

Align
Meet MMI practice, consulting and ethics requirements.
Demonstrate
Present a consequential management or consulting case.
Apply
Submit evidence, résumé, domain record and fee for review.
The €150 application fee is non-refundable and exclusive of applicable taxes. Education alone does not confer CPM; every experience, practice, ethics, case, evidence and formal-review requirement must be completed.
Professional progression beyond CPM
Progress from Chartered Professional Manager to Fellow.
CPM members who demonstrate sustained senior contribution, professional leadership and service to management practice may progress towards Fellowship. Fellowship recognises an additional level of distinction; it does not replace CPM. A Fellow retains the CPM designation and post-nominal while both CPM and Fellowship standings remain in good standing.

CPM · PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
Your field of professional competence
Substantiate an established Primary Practice Domain.
External MBA applicants
MMI evaluates the award, institution, transcript, curriculum and management focus individually. An accepted external MBA may satisfy only the educational component; it does not automatically exempt an applicant from MMI practice, consulting, ethics, applied-case, charter or other institution-specific requirements.
Applied management case
Demonstrate analysis, decision-making, implementation and reflective learning through a substantial professional case connected to your Primary Practice Domain.
The presentation shows how advanced management knowledge becomes responsible professional judgement.
Maintain CPM standing
- Complete the MMI courses prescribed for each two-year cycle.
- Ensure at least half of required learning relates to the Primary Practice Domain.
- Maintain membership, annual fees, ethics and accurate domain records.
Prepare for Chartered Professional Manager standing.
Submit your interest to discuss the educational route, present eligibility, Practice Domain and professional case you may bring to review.
An external MBA must come from a recognised or appropriately authorised Higher Education Institution and be substantially management-focused. MMI may request transcripts, syllabi, authentication or further evidence.
