Dr. Satyendra Singh holds the position of Professor of Marketing & International Business at Monarch Business School Switzerland. He holds a PhD in Industrial Marketing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Research Methods from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom, an MBA in International Business from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology in India.

Dr. Singh brings extensive international experience in teaching, research and academic leadership. His academic career includes professorial appointments at the University of Winnipeg, Canada, where he also served as Director of the Centre for Emerging Markets. He has held visiting professorships across Europe, Asia and Africa, including appointments at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and Southampton Business School.

His research and teaching span international marketing, consumer behaviour, emerging markets, corporate culture, business performance, and luxury and fashion marketing. His scholarship has appeared in journals including International Marketing Review, Industrial Marketing Management and Thunderbird International Business Review. His books examine marketing strategy, business practices and economic development across international and emerging-market settings.

Dr. Singh’s academic service includes editorship of the Journal of the Academy of Business and Emerging Markets, conference leadership, and examination of doctoral and master’s theses. His teaching, training and consulting experience across countries including Canada, the United Kingdom, India, Cambodia, Ghana and Kenya brings a broad international perspective to his work with students and researchers.
