Dr Rénier Krige is an internationally recognised organisational optimisation executive whose career has been dedicated to helping organisations build the leadership capability, organisational architecture and human capital required to deliver sustainable commercial performance. With four decades of executive leadership experience spanning Africa, Europe, the Middle East, South America and Asia, he has advised Boards, Chief Executive Officers and executive leadership teams across industries including agriculture, retail, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, engineering, aviation, financial services, mining and supply chain. His work consistently bridges business strategy with organisational capability to improve enterprise performance, customer value and long-term stakeholder confidence. Dr Krige is recognised for helping organisations translate strategic ambition into organisational capability. His executive work has consistently centred on aligning business strategy, organisational architecture, leadership capability, governance, culture and human capital to improve operational performance, customer value and long-term enterprise resilience.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Philosophy from Monarch Business School Switzerland and was awarded the institution’s Special Award for Originality in Applied Research. His doctoral research culminated in the development of the Organisational Dynamics Framework (ODF), an integrative framework demonstrating how organisational capability enables human capital to create sustainable customer brand loyalty. This framework provides Boards and executive teams with a practical lens through which to align strategy, leadership, culture, communication, change, operational excellence and customer value into a coherent enterprise system.

Dr Krige most recently served as Group Chief Human Resources Officer and Global Head of Talent Acquisition for Unifrutti Global Management in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he established the Group Human Resources function and led a broad organisational transformation agenda supporting multinational operations across Europe, Africa, Asia and LATAM. Prior to joining Unifrutti, he founded and led HRDirect / inavitiQ, a specialist management consulting practice that advised organisations on business transformation. Earlier in his career, Dr Krige held executive leadership positions with JD Group and Ellerine Holdings in South Africa, where he led strategic human capital, organisational development and enterprise transformation initiatives across one of Southern Africa’s largest retail environments.

Beyond executive leadership, Dr Krige has served in numerous governance and industry leadership roles, including Vice President (Strategy) of the Institute of People Management, Board Member of the Wholesale & Retail Sector Education Training Authority, Chairperson of its SETA Finance Committee, Principal Officer and Trustee of the JD Group Pension Fund, Executive Committee member of the Retailers Association, Chairperson of the Cape Chamber of Commerce (Helderberg), and Chairperson and Managing Director of HRDirect / inavitiQ. These appointments reflect a career characterised by strategic stewardship, governance and industry contribution.

Dr Krige is also the author of the forthcoming practitioner-focused leadership book, “The Brand Loyalty Engine”, which translates his research into a practical framework for executives seeking to strengthen organisational capability as a driver of customer trust, sustainable growth and enterprise value. Building on this work, he continues to advise on organisation architecture, executive leadership, enterprise transformation and governance, with a particular interest in helping organisations prepare for growth, international expansion and long-term customer and business value creation.
