Dr. Corrie Jonn Block is Professor of Strategic Management at Monarch Business School Switzerland, a post he has held since January 2017. He conducts post-doctoral research in strategy, corporate governance, leadership, organisational performance and executive coaching and decision-making.

Outside the school he is founder and Chief Executive Coach of Paragon Consulting FZE in Dubai, where he works with Tier-1 C-suite executives and boards on executive performance and governance. His current research examines how executive coaching can be valued against in-role performance indicators, with an emphasis on attribution discipline and measurable organisational outcomes. He is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, a member of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital (a Harvard Medical School affiliate), and serves on the Neuroplastician Advisory Board of the Institute of Applied and Organizational Neuroscience.Dr. Corrie was the primary developer of the MBA and AMP programs at the Lebanese International University, and from 2018 to 2021 he was Adjunct Professor of Strategy at SP Jain School of Global Management.

Before moving into academia and coaching he held business development and restructuring roles in the Gulf, including Director of Business Development at Uniglocal Intertrade FZCO and Managing Consultant at Zyada, and has advised organisations in more than 30 countries. He is a three-time TEDx speaker.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Exeter (2012); a Doctor of Business Administration (2017) and Master of Business Administration (2016) from Monarch Business School Switzerland; and a Master of Arts in Global Leadership from Fuller Graduate Schools, School of Intercultural Studies, Pasadena, California (2007). He is a Board Certified Master Neuroplastician (Institute of Organizational Neuroscience) and a Certified Performance Neuroscience Coach (PNCC; Flow Research Collective).
