Institutional Registration in Canton Zug
Monarch Business School Switzerland is a private institution of higher education registered in the Canton of Zug, Switzerland, operating under Swiss civil law.
As stated by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), private institutions in Switzerland are legally permitted to offer programs of higher education and to confer degrees under the principle of economic and academic freedom. Such institutions operate independently of the public university system and are governed by their own statutes and academic bodies.
Monarch’s right to operate as a private higher education institution is based on its legal registration within Switzerland and its adherence to the cantonal regulations of Zug.

Notarial Authentication for International Students
International students who require official authentication of their academic documents have several options available. Upon request, Monarch Business School Switzerland can arrange for the diploma and transcript to be certified and registered by a Swiss notary.
Students may also request that their national embassy in Switzerland provide an official authentication or legalization of the final diploma, offering an additional level of verification for use in their home country or other jurisdictions.
CEEMAN - IQA
Monarch Business School Switzerland is pleased to confirm that it has officially entered the CEEMAN International Quality Accreditation (IQA) process. CEEMAN—the International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies—is a globally respected accreditation body focused on advancing the quality of management education in emerging and dynamic contexts.
Monarch has been an active institutional member of CEEMAN since 2013, sharing in its values of innovation, relevance, and responsible leadership. Our participation in the formal accreditation process represents a natural evolution of our long-standing commitment to academic excellence, institutional effectiveness, and impactful management education.
Presently, Monarch is a candidate in the CEEMAN IQA process and is not yet accredited. We look forward to engaging with CEEMAN throughout the multi-phase review, with the goal of further strengthening our internal quality assurance systems, enhancing our global positioning, and reinforcing the value we provide to students, faculty, and institutional partners.
Canadian Institute of Management - NCMA Accreditation
Monarch Business School Switzerland is proud to announce that the Bachelor of Business Administration program has been accredited by the Canadian Institute of Management. The accreditation is valid for a 5 year period until 2029. Accreditation provides all BBA students with free Associate Membership to CIM, the use of their learning resources as well as a pathway for further professional designations. All Bachelor students at Monarch obtain free Associate Membership status with CIM.
With the CIM accreditation Monarch joins other well-recognized universities and accredited schools by CIM: McGill University, Brock University, McMaster University, Memorial University, University of London (UK), University of Manitoba, University of Toronto, University of Victoria, University of Winnipeg, Western University and Yorkville University, to name a few. Monarch is one of the first schools accredited outside Canada by CIM.Â
