TWO AWARDS · DISTINCT PURPOSES
Your circumstances.
Your commitment. Your potential.
Dean’s Scholarship Award
A needs-based tuition award for academically accepted applicants who demonstrate that financial circumstances present a barrier to study.
Assessment considers financial resources, essential responsibilities, other available support and a credible plan for meeting the remaining tuition. Open without restriction by nationality or country of residence.
Women’s Scholarship Award
Supporting aspiring, dedicated women across all Monarch academic fields, within eligible doctoral and master’s-level programmes at MGRI and MBS.
Assessment considers motivation, commitment to advanced study and potential to contribute through professional or community life. An established leadership title is not required, and research need not concern gender or women’s issues. Financial need is not a requirement.
Independent awards. Combined support.
Applicants may seek more than one award, subject to each award’s eligibility criteria. Each is assessed separately. Where both are approved, the 20% and 10% awards combine to provide 30% of the same eligible tuition amount.

The Dean’s Scholarship Award honours Dr. Lee Dahringer, Professor Emeritus and Monarch’s first Dean.

ACADEMIC ACCEPTANCE COMES FIRST
A clear, connected process.
These awards cover doctoral and master’s-level academic programmes across MGRI and MBS. MMI programmes and executive education are outside their scope. Academic admission does not guarantee a scholarship.
Apply to your programme
Submit the non-binding programme application and retain your Application ID.
Receive academic acceptance
Monarch assesses your academic eligibility independently of any scholarship request.
Submit a separate form for each award
From 1 October 2026, academically accepted applicants may submit the relevant scholarship form, using their Application ID to link it to their programme application.
Receive your scholarship decision
Approved applicants receive a formal award letter confirming the value, covered tuition and conditions. Support is applied as tuition credits, not as a cash payment.
What should you prepare?
For the Dean’s Award: an explanation of your financial circumstances and available funding, supported by relevant evidence.
For the Women’s Award: a statement of your motivation, commitment and intended contribution.
Detailed submission requirements and full award terms will accompany the scholarship forms when applications open on 1 October 2026. You may submit your non-binding programme application beforehand.
