Dr. Louise Delaney holds the position of Professor of Leadership at Monarch Business School Switzerland. She holds a dual PhD in Business Research / Doctorate in Leadership as well as an M.Phil. in Business Research from Monarch Business School, Switzerland. She also holds a Master of Science in Innovation and Technology Management from Dublin Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Business Studies from Dundalk Institute of Technology and a Diploma in International Business from Heilbronn University, Germany.
Dr. Delaney’s research focuses on leadership, innovation culture, and organisational performance within multinational subsidiary environments. Her work examines the evolution of corporate culture within U.S. multinational technology companies between 2020 and 2024, with particular emphasis on the leadership and organisational factors that foster innovation and sustained organisational performance. Her doctoral research explored the leadership practices that enable successful innovation cultures, contributing to a broader understanding of the relationship between leadership, organisational culture, and innovation in complex global organisations. She has published papers on leadership, innovation, and organisational culture.
Dr. Delaney spent more than twenty years in leadership roles with U.S. multinational technology companies based in Ireland, where she built and developed high-performing sales and operations teams across EMEA and North America. Her extensive leadership experience informs both her teaching and research, enabling her to bridge academic theory and contemporary leadership practice.
In recognition of her distinguished professional experience, academic contribution, and commitment to the values and mission of the Institution, Dr. Delaney has been appointed a Monarch Ambassador. This institutional appointment is conferred upon select members of the Monarch community whose professional standing and engagement reflect the character and international outlook of the Institution. In this capacity, Dr. Delaney represents Monarch within the wider academic and professional community and contributes to the continued development of its international presence and global network.
