Mr. Yves Kenfack, MIT Sloan MBA and UNCTAD senior expert, Joins the PhD in Sustainability Program
Monarch Business School Switzerland is pleased to welcome Mr. Léonard Yves Kenfack to the PhD in Sustainability within the PhD in Business Research program. Mr. Kenfack brings more than two decades of distinguished service at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), where he has served as Economic Affairs Officer, Program Manager, and a leading contributor to global competition and consumer protection policy. His career has supported governments across Africa and beyond in strengthening regulatory frameworks, building institutional capacity, and advancing fair and sustainable economic systems.
Mr. Kenfack’s academic record is equally exceptional. He holds the Master of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan Fellows Program in Innovation and Global Leadership, one of the most prestigious programs in the world. His formal training spans top institutions across the United States, Switzerland, and France, including advanced degrees in Commodity Trading (HEC Geneva), Industrial Economics (Université de Caen), Transport Economics (Université de la Méditerranée), and multiple research-driven diplomas. This combination of scholarly depth and global executive experience positions him as an outstanding contributor to sustainability-focused inquiry.
Throughout his career, Mr. Kenfack has authored and co-authored numerous UN-submitted research papers, policy analyses, and conference reports addressing competition law, consumer protection, digital markets, and the evolving challenges of economic governance. His long-standing engagement with African regional bodies, such as: CEMAC, ECOWAS, COMESA, WAEMU, and SACU, demonstrates a lifelong commitment to equitable development and regulatory excellence.
