Sabal Almadi is an international relations researcher whose work examines soft power, strategic cultural diplomacy, and the ways states build influence and standing in the global order. She is a doctoral candidate in International Relations at Monarch Business School Switzerland, where her research investigates how soft power strategies, information environments, and cross-cultural engagement shape statecraft, foreign policy, and diplomatic outcomes.

Almadi holds a Master of Arts in American Journalism from the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University, a background that informs her attention to how narratives are produced and contested in international politics. Her scholarship centers on narrative sovereignty, public diplomacy, and the representation of Middle Eastern affairs in global discourse, drawing on international political theory to analyze how cultural capital, emerging technologies, and digital networks function as instruments of diplomatic engagement and geopolitical influence.

Alongside her research, Almadi works in academic curriculum development and instructional design, and writes on international affairs.
