Dr. Peterson Ozili holds a PhD in Accounting & Finance from The Essex Business School, and a M.Sc. in Accounting & Finance from the Economics Department of the University of Essex, UK. He also holds a B.Sc. in Banking & Finance from the University of Benin. At present, he is a Lead Tutor at Essex Business School teaching in business & finance modelling supporting undergraduate and post-graduate students with modules and thesis work. Dr. Ozili has many published articles on bank stability, income smoothing and governance. He is also a reviewer for several journals including: The Journal of Banking and Finance (Elsevier), The Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money (Elsevier), Managerial Finance (Emerald), International Journal of Managerial Finance (Emerald), Journal of African Business (Taylor & Francis), among others. He holds memberships in The Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA), USA,The Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), USA, and The British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA), UK.
