It is with the greatest pleasure that the University announces that Dr. Yusuf Nulla successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on August 28th, 2013 in Zug, Switzerland. Dr. Nulla prepared his dissertation under the guidance of Dr. David Bevan, Adjunct Professor of Accounting at UGSM-Monarch. The dissertation is entitled, “CEO Cash Compensation, Firm Size, Firm Performance, and CEO Power: An Empirical Comparative Study on Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX/S&P) and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Indexes Companies”.
Dr. Nulla completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Toronto and later studied at the Edinburgh School of Business of the Heriot Watt University in Scotland where he graduated with a M.Sc. in Strategic Management and an MBA. Dr. Nulla is also an accountant and holds a CGA, Certified General Account designation in Canada.
