Applied Orientation
The Doctor of Economics program provides the student with an opportunity to study an applied economics problem as it manifest in the ongoing day-to-day operations of the firm and society. Candidates pursuing this degree are interested in examining economic problems from a practical and applied standpoint and developing real world applications and solutions. Operating managers, consultants and director level managers are typical participants in the program.

A holistic view of markets forces, trade region imperatives and the political landscape equips the Monarch graduate for senior decision making positions.

Candidates are able to progress through the program and develop their Manuscript on a step-by-step basis providing a higher chance for completion.
Practical Application
The Doctor of Economics focuses uniquely on the acquisition of practical knowledge applied to existing economic problems to develop potent solutions to real world challenges.
Doctoral Manuscript
Participants demonstrate their mastery of critical thinking by producing new insights and actionable outcomes on a selected economics problem. The manuscript is typically 175 to 225 pages in length.
The program has a rolling admission and be started at any time.
- Standard Duration = 3 Years
- Candidates may extend the program up to 6 years, extension fees apply at the same rate.
Program Open To
- Graduates from accredited Bachelor & Master programs with +5 Years Management Experience;
- Candidates with a Professional designation and +5 years managerial experience may be admitted to the program on the discretion of the Dean.
Tuition is charged on a quarterly basis in advance. All candidates may terminate a program upon 3 months written notice to the administration.
