This course will provide doctoral candidates with a better understanding of organizational design structure and the management of culturally diversified teams. The course objectives will be achieved through focusing upon theories of ‘Organizational Behavior and Citizenship’ that are fundamental for comprehending: planning, design, strategy and management. Furthermore, it is crucial for international managers to understand the influence of culture on decision-making. Culture typically refers to the beliefs, ideologies, principles and values that the organization shares. In addition, this course aims to present many of the essential behavioral, social and environmental processes that provide inspiration and motivation for human action.

Dr. Francois Volschenk holds the positions of Associate Dean of the Faculty and Professor of Management at Monarch Business School Switzerland. His professional experience is in product design, management, innovation, strategy, financial modelling and business consulting. Dr. Volschenk holds a Dual PhD / DBA Degree from Monarch Business School Switzerland, as well as an M.Phil in Business Research. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School (UK) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with distinction from University of Pretoria.
