The Doctor of Applied Management program is specifically formulated as an applied and practical study for the working professional. The program is designed to address the critical dimensions of effective management at an advanced level. The program provides a platform that enables the participant to focus on their areas of development and grow their strengths to become a highly effective executive ready to assume a critical role in their organization. Participants will develop insight, skills and the confidence to mature into more effective executives within their own workplace environment.
Applied & Practical
The program employs a blended learning methodology that includes one-to-one coaching, practical workplace application, applied management scholarship and individual reflection. Success in the program is defined as higher executive performance and effectiveness in the real world of the participant’s existing workplace. The program covers material considered to be essential to applied management and executive skill. Contemporary themes covered include: Ethics & CSR, Leadership, Change, Culture, Technology and Finance. The program is uniquely designed for the working professional who wishes to immediately apply the knowledge of the program back to their working environment. The DOAM program is unique as it is applied and practical in nature. What this means is that participants acquire current knowledge and skills that they bring back to their organizations to effect real change. Monarch focuses on developing the participants as change-agents and leaders who can consider management issues from a broad range of angles. This is a critical skill for today’s enterprises.

Evaluation is concluded through the submission of papers and case studies. There are no examinations within the program.
Dual Degree (MOAM / DOAM)
Upon successful completion of the program participants will receive the Master and Doctor of Applied Management.
Flexible Course Based Design
The program is based on the completion of 8 courses. Students have full flexibility as to when they wish to start each course and may take longer than the standard 12 weeks per course. The program may be followed Full-time or Part-time.
Leadership Capacity Building
Leadership is the key to a developing a resilient organization. Through exceptional teaching and real world applications the DOAM program develops managers ready to take a leadership role within their organizations.
Candidates will complete a thesis between 125 to 150 pages focused on a critical managerial problem providing real world applied solutions.
The program has a rolling admission and be started at any time.
Study duration varies depending on the study mode:
- Standard Duration = 3 Years
- Part-Time Duration = 5 Years
The program may be followed Full-time or Part-time. The program is not available as an Independent Study.
Program Open To
- Graduates from accredited Bachelor & Master programs with +5 Years Management Experience;
- Candidates with a Professional designation and +5 years managerial experience may be admitted to the program on the discretion of the Dean.
Tuition is levied on a quarterly basis in advance. All candidates may terminate a program upon 3 months written notice to the administration.
