Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, has over the last 25 years taken center stage with many mangers and business owners and leaders. CSR has evolved from simple concepts of philanthropy or doing good to well know theories of stakeholder management and social innovation. CSR is now viewed as an essential part of doing business globally and managers must understand the implications of not following a structured CSR strategy. Though CSR has increased in prominence it continues to be often a confusing and contradictory study domain. It is this aspect that makes it interesting for further research and study.
